I'm finally updating my blog after thousands of years duhhh

The fact is, this post is probably going to last until the next December because it's my "exam year" next year and too sad I definitely won't allow myself to come back here and blabber about stuff before I'm officially a graduate.

Okie doke! It's time to share some experience with y'all. :) It is now the best time of the year (at least for me, it is) , DECEMBER!
Although I'm not a christian and I don't go to church to celebrate Christmas, well, since it's not illegal to celebrate it, why not? haha nonsense again.
I've always wanted to have an advent calendar for Christmas, so this year I bought myself one-which I share with my sister as well. It is actually getting myself to feel christmas-sy as Christmas gets nearer day by day.

Anyway, back to what I wanted to say, I went for a 2D1N trip at Malacca with my beloved friends at 29th Nov, which, was my first ever experience to go for a vacation with friends! Well, we couldn't really hang out with friends during our school days, let alone travelling and having sleepovers all by ourselves. It was actually a huge success for all of us. Yay!

We were staying at a hostel, called the Mini Sayang Residence, which is actually one of the "whole-house" hostel owned by Sayang Sayang. It is basically an old house at Malacca which had been transformed into a hostel for tourists -or a group of them haha :p
Well, I couldn't say that it is really good since the house is quite old I believe, but to be honest, it was better than what we had expected. It was obviously not a 5-star-hotel, what else do you expect? At least they served perfect wifi connection for 2 days. hehe

Day 1 | 29th Nov

When we first arrived at Malacca, the first thing to do was to fill our empty tummy after such a long journey. So, we managed to have our lunch at a random restaurant which serves chicken rice ( nope, not chicken rice balls ), which turned out to be really good, surprisingly. Then, we headed towards the Malacca Zoo, which CH had been requesting since our planning started. (although I still couldn't get the reason he kept clinging to visit the zoo)

The zoo, I'm SORRY but it was quite disappointing, as if you had been to Singapore Zoo, I don't think you would ever love the Malaysia's version. It seemed like the zookeeper hadn't been cleaning their cages or even replacing their food. The worst thing was that some of the cage had been emptied "temporarily". :( Anyway, I still enjoy how our time had been spent there. The good thing is that Ian is the talkative one (sorry man :p), which we wouldn't be bored as hell while exploring the zoo. Oh ya, and we decide to separate into 2 groups, apparently boys and girls, but strangely we still bumped into each other so frequent that we ended up strolling together at the end.

After struggling with the pouring rain and having done with all our exploring, we managed to get ourselves at our hostel at almost half past six in the evening, I guess? Then we decided to go straight to the Jonker Walk instead of queuing up to take a bath. We would leave that after we got back from Jonker st., wouldn't we? AND, the highlight for that day was ------------ Meeting up with XiangNing~! :D it had been so long since she moved to Malacca !

We were being dragged to try out satay celup thanks to xiangning. :P Since it was already 11 at night, I was really tired and I just wanted to stick inside our hostel but xiangning managed to get all of us out for satay celup HAHA what a great success. xD WELL I WAS ALREADY ASLEEP IN MY MIND THO. so don't ask me if it was good, I was just sleeping :P

SO... it was already 12 AM as we went back to our hostel, only then we started to queue for a bath xD THEN...of course, we chit-chat-ted until 3 in the morning, it was kind of crazy though, it had been a while since I stayed awake till 3 a.m. It was awesome, haha, perfect memory, for me.

DAY 2 | 30th Nov

I was the first..... girl, that woke up on day 2 ! woah~ hahaa All thanks to my carelessness ughh, I had forgotten to turn off my every-day-alarm-clock, which is why my phone rang at 5:45 in the morning, which was 2 hours after we slept (what da heck?). So I hugged my phone and fell asleep again XD, but I was already awake so I started scrolling my phone and finally went down to brush my teeth and hoped that I could walk along the riverside for a while. But, I couldn't just get out to the bridge all alone, so I waited till some of them were awake, brushed our teeth and had a stroll along the riverside. The air was quite refreshing but the river, somehow had became low tide, thus, the scenery along the river wasn't that good that morning.

We went to visit the St Paul's Hill and the A Famosa Fort. before we had to check out. Good view up at the St.Paul's Hill, it was not crowded because it was Monday which a lot of tourists would be leaving Malacca instead of visiting places like that.

I thought the stairs suits the grass really well, so yeap. :)

And so, we went back to our hostel, packed our backpacks, and...off we go!

We left our backpacks at the youth hostel when we checked out and headed towards the Dataran Pahlawan with a smaller bag ( a small sling bag for me ) so that we wouldn't have to shop around with huge backpacks. We also went to try our the mille crepe at Nadeje , Mahkota Parade, which is quite famous for their mille crepe. We spent almost half an hour waiting for a table for 9 of us.(haha...I bet the other customers were quite pissed..nah just joking) It was really good , I think their butter cream for the mille crepe is quite unique and different from what I had tried before. A little thumbs up for that. It was about RM12.90 per pcs , if I wasn't wrong.

Then, we walked back to the youth hostel and got on 2 taxis and headed towards the Melaka Sentral to have our advanced dinner and waited for our long-journey bus to take off, off to Larkin, and back to our home sweet home~! p/s: Causeway Link's bus wasn't too bad :P

But yep,  I'm here again to update this blog! I was thinking hard to figure out which day or which events should I share it here and decided to blog about recent vacation, a REALLY short trip to Malacca in just ONE day. ha ha. Beware. I'm not sure how long I'm going to write, maybe it'll be shorter than other normal posts but, forgive me :P Just want to have a quick update here before I get into a busier period of time after this short holiday week.

14 Sept 2014. Malacca Trip.
As usual, we go to Malacca every year a.k.a annual trip of our family since there's a special public holiday (Malaysia Day). :)

It's a one day trip so we start off our day earlier than usual, and had a quick breakfast before we set off to Malacca. AND little funny thing is that as sis got her driving license already, she drove us up to Pagoh as a practice he he. It's actually quite good, for someone who just passed her driving test. Yay~ Thumb's up! Great work though :D After that our driver shift to dad and it started to rain. Super lucky that it didn't rain when sis was driving. xP

The road journey took about 2 hours more and there we arrived at Malacca! After getting our car parked near jonker street, we took our back pack and start our one day trip :) We wandered around jonker street and decided to fill up our tummy first :P We went to a normal hawker stall.( no idea where it is, I was still half awake half sleeping) And so, as we planned earlier, we went to pahlawan Mall first and came back to jonker around 3 or 4 pm to save time on not repeating our route in jonker.

We went to pahlawan mall through a shortcut from the A' Famosa.( the south entrance of the mall if I didn't get it wrong) AND just shopped around boutiques and random shops. I almost bought the Manchester United FC latest version of jersey but was not so sure about the price and the quality of it. Not sure if it's worth or maybe I should just buy that online. Any suggestions?
Sis bought a really nice blue squared pattern shirt and mum bought some cute little bottles of perfume.

It's time for lunch! After walking for such a long time we decided to just deal our lunch in the mall. We went to the Black Canyon Restaurant which serves Thai cuisine and we were attracted by the set meal to be honest. It's located just opposed to the Brands Outlet where you can actually see it once you stepped into the mall. ( but of course, the south entrance. )
We had SET D which serves stir-fried mixed vegetables, stir-fried glass noodles with seafood, green curry with 4 plates of rice.

Their food are of course, mostly spicy which makes me quite sad because the spiciness choke me. ( I really enjoy green curry by the way)

OOTD haha :P just a simple t-shirt with shorts and sport shoes! :D

Spotted this when we were on our way to the pahlawan mall. How lucky we were :P There were lots and kinds of food from different races or cultures in Malaysia. Most of them are F.O.C hehe but I didn't try any of them because... I don't know? hahaha

It's just like a culture festival there. AND it was actually more crowded than it's in the photo.

Saw this when we went back to jonker street from the mall. I first thought it was metal but then realize it was actually polystyrene.....okay, and somebody even poke it?😒 I don't know, as you can see that big, white, round hole on his chest and realizing that it is NOT METAL.

This is a bistro I think? It looks quite special then others because other bistro would just make a balcony as it is along the river but this doesn't. haha

Night time was well spent in Jonker street,which we had been there for many times already, but still obsessed with it. I bought some bits and pieces this time as I planned to do so. :D
so yeap,

Obsession strikes again so I bought dream catchers again, black and white.
, some cute key chains and sticky notes.

 Bought this because they are too cute and sis decided to share with me MUAHAHAHA.

Malacca Day II !

Sorry for delaying this blog post! :P I've been so busy for exams and school works *sigh
I totally forgot about this! Thousand apologizes * I might miss out some of those interesting story since it had been a long time, sorry ya!' This post might be a bit short hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

The next day we had our breakfast in our hotel since the breakfast voucher was given hahaha. Then once again we went to Jonker Street. I keep searching for dream catcher all over the jonker street's shops. I did find it at there! There were so many shops which sells dreamcatcher :)
I bought 2 dreamcatcher which one is blue and another one is purple in colour. SO HAPPY when I found it!! I don't remember how did it go on but uhmm... we went to Nancy's kitchen for our lunch and it's a NYONYA restaurant :) But it took a long queue for our lunch there :( We tried various type of nyonya's dishes and I personally think it was quite delicious :) hehehe after having our lunch we went for a walk around jonker street.

THEN we went to CALANTHE CAFE to have our tea break :DD AND of course, Cappucino for me! :P I wanted to eat the cheesecake but cakes were out of stock... :(  This cafe is actually popular as they serve different coffees from 13 states in Malaysia. But I never try them before hahahah xD
So my dad ordered MSL ( and I don't know what s it) , Espresso for mum and SIS- 34°C Madness.
oh ya, and my grandma had a try for Sabah Coffee. :) I really love this café much, the environment, and of course their coffee :)

We also went to the SWEET SUMMER COTTAGE, it's a sweet little shop beside The Geographer. They sell handmade soap with different flavor. Mum bought a lip stick for me and sis hahaha smells good but I haven't use it yet. :)

My blue dreamcatcher :)  There were so many colour and it's too hard to choose! seriously red is so cool hahaha :p. This one cost RM 15 it's more expensive than the normal one because of the different decorations.

Purple! My favourite colour! This one is cheaper hahaha :p I actually want to buy a black one because black looks mysterious and it's really cool but I think purple is also quite dashing haha :) I also bought an orange dream catcher for chinyee but I didn't get to take photo of it.

-2 keychain with my friend's name on it. ( another 3 for my sis's friends )

And that's all I bought, for souvenirs! :)

Dream-catch Trip Day 1 :) -blessed-

hey there! I'm back again, from my annual trip(?) :p haha
:) so here I'm going to share about this trip! really excited about it and I can't wait to blog it when I reached home haha :p

It will be really long(?) maybe, or I'll just separate it for 2 posts...but uhmm let's see haha.
YEP. I went to Malacca again, once a year, every year, haha kind of addicted to those delicious food!
We arrived at Malacca at 9am so it just took 2 hours to reach there. And, we saw a hawker stall full with people so we decided to had our breakfast and our 1st meal there. It's actually just a normal food stalls but the dishes are quite good. :) I don't know what's the name that I ate that time lol let's just call it fish noodles xD

It's still too early for us to check in so we parked the car and start our journey on foot! :) On our way to DATARAN PAHLAWAN we had Cendol in front of the Stadthuys. and, we met RTM shooting crew and they were shooting a scene for a drama! well, I don't really think it will come out good because the stadhuys as their background, was under renovation..... :p hahaha and actually many people are all around a male celebrity but none of us know who is him....................... ok let's just continue, and as we reached one of the entrance of  DATARAN PAHLAWAN , it's renovating too... so we had to go for another entrance and indeed it's another long walk.

Before we crossed the pedestrian bridge we were walking around in the HATTAN SQUARE , I saw a Haagen Dazs shop(?) and my eyes went big hahahah xDDD I really thought I'm gonna just pass by it. But then my grandma said she wanted to treat us :D oh my goodness just rushed in there hahahaha xD so yay!  I forgot what's the name but uhmmmmm chocolate!.......ahaks :p

This "CRAFTED WITH LOVE" menu is actually for mid-autumn festival and Haagen Dazs is selling ice cream mooncake! *oppss sounds like advertising ....xD

Environment of this shop is really nice and quite comfortable. AIR-CON is really heaven after walking for a long distance under the hot sun. :p hehe

I shall just skip the window shopping part in dataran pahlawan. :p so after that we went back to our hotel to check in and put out luggages in our room :) We were really tired so we rest in the room until we went out to jonker at night. but, won't stop to eat though ahaha. We ate rojak , popia and drank herbal tea which were just near to our hotel. AND I REALLY LOVE THE HERBAL TEA!!!!

 And of course, we went to the pasar malam at jonker street but unfortunately it started to rain after we had our dinner at jonker. sigh. We were forced to went back to our hotel and still raining all the way back to the hotel.....ngawww such a regret
